My Appliance Source is a family-owned business that goes back to 1977, when it was started by my father, Mark.

What began as a small service business has grown into a local appliance store serving Shakopee and the surrounding communities. From the beginning, the goal has always been the same. Take care of people, do the job right, and stand behind what we sell.

I grew up in this business and learned it from the ground up. Over time I stepped into ownership, and like most small businesses, it has come with its share of challenges. There have been good years, tough years, and a lot of lessons along the way. But the foundation my dad built has never changed.

Today we are continuing that same approach while also growing into something new.

We now serve our community from two locations in Shakopee.

Our main store on Dem Con Drive is where the business has been built over the years. It offers a full selection of kitchen and laundry appliances, including Whirlpool, Maytag, KitchenAid, Frigidaire, and Speed Queen. This location is set up for everyday needs, especially laundry, and for customers who want solid options that are available and ready to go.

Our downtown Shakopee showroom is a newer space focused on kitchen projects, remodels, and new construction. It features Whirlpool, Maytag, KitchenAid, and JennAir, and gives customers a place to slow down and really plan out their space.

Even with two locations, the way we do business has not changed.

We take the time to understand what people need, we try to give honest advice, and we stick with our customers after the sale. Whether it is one appliance or a full project, we want the experience to be straightforward and comfortable.
